The Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) is an organization of law students dedicated to advocating for the Asian Pacific American community at the University of Michigan Law School, providing academic and professional resources for our members, and creating a social and professional network to connect students and alumni.
Our organization includes alumni and students who have served as the first Asian-American governor of a U.S. state, the dean and chancellor of a major U.S. law school, partners at world-class law firms, and the editor-in-chief of the Michigan Law Review.
As part of our contributions to our members, we host social gatherings such as dim sum brunches and Lunar New Year's feasts, sponsor 1L Summer Fellowships for public interest and government work, and hold an annual gala celebrating our members, alumni, and work.
